Great tour and outstanding staff as well.
Nice place for kids, my kid loved it. He went there on a field trip with his school, the fort tour was very informative. They allowed the kids to chop the woods. All in all he had a fun day. Thanks to the wonderful staff who made his day.
Good example of early colonial building practices and how early settlers lived. The Fort is open May 30th through October 10th.
Very interesting. Our local fort tour guide helped to make history come alive. Very friendly staff, extremely knowledgeable,. He encouraged questions. Many artifacts over 200 years old, some artifacts were found on the fort site. Great for school history class.
