This place is outstanding! Filled with everything you'd want to know about Maine and is extremely well done. This is a museum you would expect to see in a higher-end location like Boston. So much to see. Good staff. Can't say enough about how great it is and so cost affective. Props for the wonderful contribution to Maine history
Loved learning about Maine. Need some benches along the way for those who can't walk it all without stopping here or there. Great service.
Best $3 ever spent. We took several hours wandering around 4 floors of high quality exhibits. Awesome destination. Not great for kids under 10.
Ample parking. Low admittance fee. Four floors of viewing pleasure. Maine woods, wildlife, industry and daily life. Military involvement. Indigenous people.
