Great small dog park. Very under used.
?) The big dog side is all dirt and rocks so even if he got running there was a huge chance of injury, not to mention the rolls of wire fencing just laying around (3 or more!). The city of Augusta had a great idea, but poor execution. There is so much grassy area surrounding the dog park, this could have easily been moved to create a much bigger and safer place. We definitely won't be back. For people with no yard, I guess this is a great place, for us, no go.
Good parking, good location. Nice facility.
It is nice to know there is a place for people to take their dogs in Augusta, however, this park is super small. My dog (a standard size labrador) and I visited for the first time as we were in town (we live an hour away) and he needed to blown off some steam. Poor decision. The park is so small even with just the 10-12 dogs that were there, he couldn't run. The dogs there also seemed quite territorial of their space since he was a "newcomer." There definitely needs to be some rules posted so those dog owners with dogs that are more aggressive know it isn't ok to take their dogs to the park (a bit obvious?
It was really snowy when we went, but it still had been shoveled out so the gates opened and that was REALLY nice. Thank you!!!
Abby and I love the dog park in Augusta. Very clean, water for the dogs, Thank you for providing such a nice environment for pets and pet owners.
