I needed a ride to the store 3.1 miles away in Windsor during a mild ice storm and called them for a ride. She asked if I ever rode with them before and I told her no so she declined to give me a ride because I live outside of Augusta and I've not used their service before claiming they have received too many crank calls that send their drivers out of town. So I told her she just lost a legitimate sale and I hung up. Too bad because I have a $100 bill in my hand and was prepared to offer a nice tip.
I just called to schedule a future pick up for my son and was told curtly by the person who answered the phone that they don't do scheduled pickups, but right on the front page of their site under where it says Email Us, it says, "This method is best for future rides", and then when you click the link, it says, "Please use the form below for general information or to inquire about future pickups." Weird way to run a business. I planned to tip well too. Oh well, another business can enjoy my $$ and future business.
My mother missed a doctor's appointment because they refuse to do what any modern transport company does & schedule ahead. She tried reaching these people for a ride to her doctor's appointment day-of, since they refuse future bookings & wouldn't schedule it ahead, and on that day they were missing calls & voicemail filled up. She may have been called back, but it was way too late. Lame failure.
Called in to ask how much it would be to go 3.3 miles from my house. It would have cost me $11. Called Al's and way cheaper. Way to expensive, I could fill a gas tank half full with $11.
