The food and customer service is great! The first time I ever went here was on a date with my boyfriend when we were first starting out. I had a mini cheese pizza. I’m not so fond of the cheese they use on their pizzas. Their sandwiches on the other hand are a different story. I enjoy their ham dagwoods and club wrap. I also like the fact that they sell many different and unique brands of chips and have their own desserts. I recommend the whoopie pies!
I came in maybe 15 minutes to 9pm. Just me and a friend wanting to get something real quick. After reading the menu online I was sad to see that an Italian restaurant didn't serve Chicken Aldredo. They had Zeti alfredo but I ain't about that life. Anyways I got some spaghetti and my friend got a pizza. The menu sizes for pizza were pint, quart, and bucket which was odd. I don't know what size I got but I paid about $7. It came with a small salad, and by small I mean the thing was small. Handfull of lettuce, a couple tomato chunks, some onion slivers, and a slice of green bell pepper. With some weird dressing. It was alright. It also came with some garlic bread which seemed more like the top half of a sub bun with some garlicky-butter stuff on the top. And the spaghetti with a big meatball on it. The meatball was alright, but I can see why people thought it was mostly bread. The spaghetti was decent and I liked the sauce. The plate was a bit too small though as I couldn't mix the sauce with the pasta like a civilized human being. Salad 2/5. Garlix bread 1.8/5 and spaghetti gets a 3/5. Dennys is right next door so you're better off going there and getting a delicious milkshake. Milkshake 7/5.
We're a couple of Chicagoans in search of an Italian beef sandwich. We ordered two roast beef sandwiches and somehow ended up with two sub sandwiches. The subs were good, but not what we were craving.
Got a Basic Ham Italian. Price was reasonable. No black olives included. It fell apart and all over my lap with the very first bite. I had to rebuild it a few times. FYI they do not cut their sandwiches unless you specify apparently. Not terrible but not fantastic. Rebuilding the sandwich repeatedly definitely took a star away.
Spaghetti - Really like the tomato sauce here. Meatball tastey. Comes with small salad and garlic bread. Very good and good price. JeffP 10/21/17
